kumquat essential oil is cold pressed from the fruit peel of the kumquat. the kumquat plant is native to south asia and the asia pacific region making it an exotic asian fruit. kumquat means “golden orange” in the english language and is very similar to sweet orange essential oil, but with a much richer orange scent.
kumquat essential oil is high in limonene, which gives the oil it’s fresh, citrusy aroma and uplifting abilities. kumquat is known to brighten the senses, boost household cleaning products, and support a healthy immune system. the wonderful aroma can help freshen a stale room and create a positive atmosphere. this scent is very energizing and can help give you the boost you need to get going in the morning, or afternoon. kumquat essential oil is an exotic must have that is a great asset to any oil collection.
directions: add a few drops to your aromatherapy diffuser to freshen a stale room and create an uplifting atmosphere. boost your favorite cleaning product by adding 2-3 drops of kumquat. add to a personal inhaler and inhale for a pick me up in the morning or afternoon. for topical use, dilute using 2-3% with your favorite plant therapy carrier oil.
